          Youth festival " youth " represent  talent and art in festival were all the students get together and celebrating youth festival. All the students have great opportunity to show his/ her talent to the front of guests and students.
         Maharaja Krishnakumarsinhji Bhavnagar University has organised three days Youth Festival which has given the title  of "Rang Mohan". This whole festival of three days is hosted by Physical Education department of mkb university . We are thankful to MKB University for organising such a big festival. MKB university such provided a big stage for those students who are really talented. Bhavnagar University every year organised youth festival. Through this stage many students make their bright future and career. This year youth festival is attributed to 150th birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi. Most of event related to Mahatma Gandhi. This festival for young students. 

Kalayatra :

In 25th September  youth Festival began with "Kalayatra" at 4:00 pm to 6;00 pm. The main theme of kalayatra is about "Mohan to Mahatma" and based on the life of mahatma Gandhi.. Kalayatra started from Shamaldas Arts college to ground of sheth  Law college. 

Themes of Kalayatra:

Swami sahajanand college of commerce and Arts presented "My life is my message" and 11 mahavrata given by mahatma Gandhi.
•The KPES College and MJ college presents divin journey of mahatma. 
•Shamaldas arts college present " where I am ?
•MBA Department presented theme of New India My Dream India.
•Sir P. P. Institute of science also presented one new things.

Inauguration of Youth Festival :




           On the 26th of September is inauguration of Youth Festival organised at MP Theater of MKB University. The function began with Gandhi's favorite gujrati bhajan. Dilipsinh give warmly welcome speech. Bhupendrasinh chudasama  as main guest who delivered remarkable speech on importance of education and youth. Yuvrajsinh give some words to the audience with his speech. There are several popular folk artists Mayabhai Aahir, Kirtidan Gadhvi , Dhirubhai sarvaiya, Abhysinh Rathod present in this function. Mahipatsinh chawda , vice chancellor of maharaja krishnakumarsinhji bhavnagar university give a thanking speech at the end of inauguration.

Western Song :



Western Song is very interesting event for all the students who take an interest in singing. This event organised at court hall 12 to 2. Department of English presented western song.

Folk song :


Folk song event organised at 7:30 to 10 pm, new court hall. All most participants present very well folk song in musical form.

Mono acting :

Mono acting organized at Atal Auditorium. The all participants presents very well. Most of participants choose the subject and character from Mahabharata like Dropadi, Sahdev, Ashwathama. Other students presents current problems and current situations in society. We also found various themes through mono acting.

Skit :


           Skit competition organized at Atal Auditorium. I have found various themes related to pollution,  education, Gay marriage, social media and some skit on myth like mhabharta.

Mehndi competition :

Mehndi competition organised at external building. All the participants students exhibited their skills with painting on hand with Hina mehndi cone.
