About Vinod Joshi :


 


             Vinod Joshi was born on 13 August 1955 in Bhoringda, a village of Amreli, district, Gujarat . His family is from Botad. His father, Hargovinddas Joshi, was a Sanskrit scholar. Vinod Joshi has been influenced by the folkloric Gujarati language of his mother, Lilavati Joshi.


      Vinod Joshi is postmodern Gujarati poet, writer and critic from Gujaratindia.

                  Sairandhri is poem written by Vinod Joshi. Sairandhri is very famous poem of his poems . Sairandhri is based on Mahabharat . Droupadi is a character of Mahabharat . Droupadi was a daughter of king Drupad.she known  with various name into Mahabharat like a Krishna, yagnaseni, paanchali....etc behind her name responsible various storys and problem . Vinod Joshi represent Draupadi as a love of karna and Arjun. She suffers and face many difficulties during Agyat vas..she became dashi during agyaA vas. In the poem he represents the problem of sairandhri in the whole prom how she face the difficulties and how she deals with a the critical situation.

              In the poem Draupadi lost her identity with sacrify her body for five male Padmas. 
             
                Generally we can see that women were most suffering and sacrifice with many situations . Women who lost her identity . She also loss her dreams , passion and respect .
