Hello Readers!

Shitala Saatam : Religion vs Science

Shitala Saatam is day which we disposal the conflict between religion vs Science. In our society  most of peoples who believe in traditional and religious . Apart from that we are as society we can find religious or science. Because of peoples are believed in the religious rather than science. But behind this festival some scientific reasons to celebrate shitala Saatam.

Peoples belief on shitala Saatam :

Shitala Saatam is a Religion festival celebrated in the month of Saravana on the seventh day of dark fortnight. On this day Shitalamata's Puja is performed after taking bath with cold water . One cold meal is eaten during the day. People celebrated  shitala Saatam every year , people's belief that shitala Saatam is festival of shitala mata. Mother perform special puja and prayers to shitala mata. There is belief that with the blessings of Goddess Shitala Mata , children and other will be protected from various diseases like small pox , chicken pox  etc. And food cooked on previous day ans is eaten on the shitala Saatam day. Scientific reasons is that ,the food is provide B12 vitamin and if people eat "Vasi Bhojan ".it is very helpful to our health.

Nowadays we can understand that every festivals having  one reasons to celebrate that festivals. We celebrate shitala Saatam behind this festival some scientific reasons . In our society we can see that literate people are not deeply believe in religion festival . But they don't take it rational because of some traditional and religious background around us. So there is we can see religious vs Science. Science prove it that shitala is a one kind of decease but another side is religion nad society. So there is lot's of belief and facts in our society.

Inoculation vs Vaccination :

In the Aug 17 issue of the Journal,  appears a letter telling of smallpox "vaccination" in Fairfield in 1782. What it describes, though, is not vaccination but inoculation. It might be the differences between the two Vaccination and Inoculation.

Vaccination, introduced by Jenner in 1798, was based upon the use of a mild, cowpox virus which produced a local infection at the site of inoculationand and it is a high level of immunity to smallpox. This is called "vaccination" because the material used came from cow.

Inoculation is  performed in 1782. Smallpox inoculation or variolation as it was o called, was carried out by inoculating the smallpox virus itself into the skin. This procedure or variations of it, had been practiced since ancient times in Asia and perhaps in Africa, but was not introduced.

In our society people believe in goddess rather than decease. Smallpox decease is one type mataji that's poeples belief. Vaccination is a
" Achabda " (decease) and Inoculation is " Orimata "(decease).

                     Thank you.....

Faint brief cry and immediate inspiration and slow increase of light together reaching maximum - together in about ten seconds. Silence and hold for about fi...

Thinking Activity : Testing and Evaluating

Thinking Activity : Testing and Evaluating Here are some questions on Testing and Evaluating... 1 ) Write on Validity and reliability of the test . Reliability and validity are concepts used to evaluate the quality of research. They indicate how well a method, technique or test measures something. Reliability is about the consistency of a measure. Validity is about the accuracy of a measure. What is validity? Validity refers to how accurately a method measures what it is intended to measure. The validity of an instrument is the idea that the instrument measures what it intends to measure. High reliability is one indicator that a measurement is valid. If a method is not reliable, it probably isn’t valid. For example , imagine a researcher who decides to measure the intelligence of a sample of students. A test of physical strength, like how many push-ups a student could do, would be an invalid test of intelligence.  Types of validity 1 ) Construct 2 ) Content 3 ) Criterion What is ...
