       Here is my blog on Quality and Authenticity on resources.
Workshop  has organised by Dilip Barad sir at department of English.
The source educational evaluation rubric (seer) represent the evolution of critical approach that has Turnitin has adopted and used websites in the analysis of student source.

Introduction :

            We are living in 21century ,in the world of technology and internet exploration where all research are done  under digital platform. So, raise question in our mind is that how much trust and faith should be put on these  web - resources, they are reliable or not and if they are than what is the quality of their products and information.

           Turnity-prevent plagiarism engaged students has created one rubric for students to evaluate the source which is mostly use by students to check whether is it trustworthy or not and can we use it for academic purposes and for researches.

            The source educational evaluation rubric (seer) represents the evolution of critical approach that Turnitin has adopted and used websites in analysis of students sources.

            Rubric was designed by academic experts for students. The rubric is built on five criteria.
       Authoritative
       Educational value
       Intent
       Originality
       Quality

Three websites:
    1) https://www.wikipedia.com
    2) https://www.britannica.com
    3) https://www.sparknotes.com

1) https://www.wikipedia.com

   Authoritative : 3 mark
   In Authoritative I give 3 mark to Wikipedia. Wikipedia site is highly or well regarded site which give reference , cited and good content.

   Educational value: 3 mark
   Wikipedia site for educational value is a regarded source of content.

   Intent : 4 mark
   Wikipedia is highly regarded source which provide highly respected sources of content. Intention is Wikipedia is to provide many resources and inform to users

   Originality : 2 mark
   Wikipedia site is give some original content to users

   Quality : 2 mark
    Wikipedia's quality standards. The specific problem is summary section are to long, this is longer than our actual article.

   2) https://www.britannica.com

   Authoritative : 4 mark
   Britannica has work with the world's  premier partner institutions and experts. work highly regarded site which give us appropriate knowledge and provide link, information is well regarded, well cited, written by author with expertise.

   Educational value: 3 mark
   Britannica is good for educational purposes . Its contents instructional goal. Britannica's expanding knowledge footprint, all with the goal of helping the world's curious minded and find information with confidence.

   Intent : 4 mark
   Britannica knowledge expert network. Britannica and to supporting the needs of our growing audience around the word.

   Originality: 3 mark
   It's contents is original but it is provided gathering sources which is some time give original sources.

   Quality : 3 mark
   Quality of Britannica sources is provided good content with short and valuable content.

3) https://www.sparknotes .com

    Authoritative : 3 mark

    Educational value : 3 mark

    Intent : 2 mark

   Originality : 3 mark

   Quality: 4 mark


       All three websites has different type of rubric evaluation. It is give reliable resources .

Reliability and validity are concepts used to evaluate the quality of research. They indicate how well a method, technique or test measures something. Reliability is about the consistency of a measure. Validity is about the accuracy of a measure. What is validity? Validity refers to how accurately a method measures what it is intended to measure. The validity of an instrument is the idea that the instrument measures what it intends to measure. High reliability is one indicator that a measurement is valid.
