Hello readers!!!
Here is my blog on A famous Author Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie. This task is given by Professor Dilip Barad sir as a Sunday reading or thinking activity. In the task sir give three videos to watch and give some questions answered regarding  those videos.

Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie:

Adichie is a young Nigerian author, she provides a powerful tool for facing history classroom. She is a very famous author in Nigeria.

       She talks on three topics
  1. The Danger of single story
  2. We should all be feminist
  3. Importance of truth in post truth era.

In the first video " The Danger of single story" a 2009 TED talk by Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie, a young Nigerian author.
She argues that  inherent in the power of stories is a danger the Danger of knowing only one story about a group. They make one story become the only story.
In the talks , she talks about a novel's story, the protagonist of the story is American student, Lamented. She talks about story. Adichie calls it a shame that " all young American men are serial killers". The Danger of a story is connecting with people as individuals. So, the issue is really about power.

In the second video Adichie give a unique definition of feminism for the twenty first century. She draws extensively on her own experience and her deep  understanding of the often masked realities of sexual , political.

She talks about the freedom of women and dreams of women. She give different definition of feminism . She talks about feminism rooted in inclusion and awareness.

In the third video she talks about the importance of truth in the post truth era. Whether we can see that post truth era is term which denoting or relating to circumstances whereby objective facts are less influential in shaping the opinion of the public than appeals to personal belief and emotion. And that also connect with the culture and society.

Let's through some light on questions
1.Whether you liked or dislike the views?
I like view in the first video. After watching videos I like one thing is that raising questions in human beings that " who am I?" That defining oneself as Rudyard Kipling writes " All the people like us are we and everyone else are they."

2. Why you like or dislike?
I like the concept because the concept of oneself is all about our personal character and personality. That concept connects people to individuals.

3. Which view you like or dislike?
I like all the views given by Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie. She talks about The Danger of single story, in this she talks one  story." We should All be feminist" in this concept she give unique definition of feminism. And also talks on Important of truth in post truth era.

4. Has these views helped in better understanding of literature and life?
Yes , these views helped in better understanding of literature and life. Because here some views about a story , feminist approach and post truth era which authentically connected with the literature that give us better understanding of literature and life.

                Thank you…….
