ELT- 1 on Bilingualism, Trilingualism and Multilingualism.

Here is my task on English language Teaching. This Task is given by Vaidehi ma'am, department of English. ELT -1 task on Bilingualism, Trilingualism and Multilingualism.
Introduction :
ELT is a paper of semester 3 in master of English. In the ELT -1 we have the role of English in india. In this unit we have subtopics Bilingualism, Trilingualism and Multilingualism.
Bilingualism :
Meaning :
Fluency in or use of two languages.
Bilingualism refers to the coexistence of more than one language system within an individual, as contrasted to monolingualism.
Ability to speak two languages. It may be acquired early by children in regions where most adults speak two languages.

Trilingualism :
The condition of being trilingual; the ability to speak three languages.
A person who is able to use three languages, especially with equal fluency
Trilingualism consists of having, or expressed in three languages trilingual countries a trilingual joke also : familiar with or able to use three languages a trilingual teacher.

Multilingualism :
Multilingualism is the ability of an individual speaker or a community of speakers to communicate effectively in three or more languages. Contrast with monolingualism, the ability to use only one language. A person who can speak multiple languages is known as a polyglot or a multilingual.
