Thinking Activity on the scarlet letter

Thinking Activity on the scarlet letter

Hello readers!

Here is my blog on the scarlet letter novel which is written by Nathaniel Hawthorne. This task is given by Heena ma'am from the department of English. In this task we have to do is that we felt pressure to conform to standards that others have set, but that we did not feel comfortable with.

We feel manier time to be like others at any place or anywhere . We are not in our comfort for many reasons. We feel insecure at places. Sometimes we feel that we are being for others. At that time we weren't comfortable with ourselves either. In this situation our dream and fortune is all like being for others. There is not our existence. For our existence we have to prove that we aren't others. We are in our comfort.

As we live in our life as ourselves that way we think that we are not with our comfort zone. We feel uncomfortable at many times and many places because of that we think that we are others. And we all might be gone with that experience.

I have also lots of experience wherein I have felt like others. For that society is the best example we all know. So I have drafted it in the form of a story here…

Once upon time when I was clear or passed out my 12th standard. I was happy to learn further studies in college. I completed my 12 with commerce and I want to go for a Bachelor of commerce, unfortunately my parents and "others" want me to join for a Bachelor of arts. It was a very hectic  day for me. There where I am not able to take my own decisions at least. That time I feel that I am "others' '. There my parents were in my support but because of society and guidelines of other people they also want me to join bachelor of arts. At times I feel "others" because of other people I can say…

I completed my graduation with a bachelor of arts…

So, there is Society plays a very important role in our life, we live in a society so we must have to follow some rules and regulations that society expects from us. Society is one kind of social management by human beings.

 Thank you!

Sunday Reading : Bonfire (Holika Dahan)

Sunday Reading : Bonfire (Holika Dahan) Some questions  are:   1 )  How many countries celebrate Bonfire ? Why? (If you can find reasons  ….are there common reasons?) Holika Dahan In some parts of India the day is actually called Holika Dehan. There are other activities associated with the story of Prahlad, but the burning of Holika is the one that we can most directly associated with Holi. Fire burnt on the eve of Holi (Holika Dahan) symbolizes the burning of Holika. The story as a whole is testament to the power of devotion (bhakta) over the evil represented by King Hiranyakashyapu , as Prahlad never lost his faith. Bonfire Night is a name given to various annual celebrations characterised by bonfires and fireworks. The event celebrates different traditions on different dates, depending on the country. There are many countries India, Iraq, nepal, Poland, Japan, Italy, Israel, Ireland, Iran, France, Canada, Australia, Central Europe etc celebrate bonfires ....
