 ELT2: Warm-up session : Technology and Teachers

Hello readers!

Here is my blog about Technology and Teachers. Here is one question: Can technology replace Teachers ? So here are some questions.

# What shall teachers do so that they are not replaceable by technology?

We can assume that teachers are replaced by technology in upcoming technological life. But without a teacher we aren't able to learn life skills. We can get much more knowledge through technology but not be able to gather life skills which is also very important.  So, what shall teachers do so that they are not replaceable by technology ???

Teachers shall be friends of students. Teacher will have to remember and understand that Google is not their friend. But Today's teacher shall know the language and capabilities of Google. Nowadays maybe teachers should not be more information giver but they shall be connectets of dots in this network area and teaching life. So they are not replaceable by technology but they are used technology and teaching to students. Teachers shall be motivated, encouraged to all students and be energetic for teaching.

# What major differences do you see in the use/integration of technology in teaching and learning after the Corona Pandemic? Write in brief. Not more than (Think of this in 'General', not in 'particular about our Dept.)

Yes. We can see major differences in use of technology in teaching and learning after the Corona pandemic. Before Corona, pandemic teachers rarely used technology for teaching. But Nowadays technology is the most important tool for teaching. Without technology teaching is not possible anywhere.

Before the Corona pandemic some teachers were not habituated with technology. But nowadays teachers also learn technology for teaching.
